Community Resources & Support
Finding the right support can feel overwhelming.
Whether you are facing immediate needs, mental health support concerns, substance use challenges, or simply do not know where to start, resources are available throughout our community.
Northwest Hills Prevention Connection focuses on prevention, education, and connection. While we do not provide direct treatment services, we work closely with trusted local and statewide partners to help individuals and families find the support they need. Our role is to serve as a guide - helping you understand available options, connect with appropriate resources, and take the next step with confidence.
No matter where you are in your journey, you are not alone. Help starts here.
Community Partners
The Winchester Youth Service Bureau (WYSB), whose current Executive Director chairs the NHPC, has served the town of Winchester and surrounding communities for more than 30 years. Its commitment is demonstrated through strong relationships with local towns, the distribution of newsletters via municipal Facebook pages, and the delivery of in-school programs across the service area. Hartland, which was officially added to the NHPC’s service area this year, has already benefited from WYSB’s long-standing in-school group programming.
NHPC works closely with the team at Western Connecticut Coalition for resources and training.
